There may have been times when you were denied understanding or compassion due to assumptions about the money, abilities, or external qualities you have. This space is not that, and there is no requirement to show up a specific way. A seasoned clinical therapist, I hold grace for the human condition. It is powerful. We will collaborate as you challenge your comfort zones and begin to realize you can trust yourself and your bodymind. I am committed to accompanying those who have endured complex, systemic, or vicarious trauma and are seeking post-traumatic growth.

My approach has a lens of neuroscience, humor, and compassionate liberation, while noticing how relationships impact well-being. Being dedicated to your mental wealth means we will incorporate community, culture, and capacity into your care, so you are more successful when releasing tensions. As a non-pathologizing provider, diagnoses will only be used when required and with your collaboration.

The path I took to becoming a therapist has been unconventional; to say the least. My admiration for the therapeutic process arrived after my own therapy addressing child welfare, MST, and being stalked by an abusive ex. These experiences, plus the ones surrounding them, left me with scars and gave me lots of reasons to give up. However, through therapeutic processes, I gained a crisp clarity and paradigm shift that offered me a life I could not have dreamt for myself. Back then I couldn’t dream that big. I thought that life was for “other people”.

As someone with the lived experience of post-traumatic growth I am willing to offer this, when appropriate, as a way to normalize the human experience and shift dynamics in hierarchical systems. It also means I know addressing trauma is layered, wild, and subtle. Finding supportive resources will be part of our work together, because lived experience does not translate into being an expert on your situation or your only source of information.

If you think we could be a good match, reach out and let's taco 'bout it. If we have collaborated in the past, reach out any time to check availability. You are worthy of achieving your dreams and living a good life.
